Courses
We offer a full array of scuba diving courses and instruction, from guided introductory dives through professional divemaster training. At BlueWater Divers, we love to dive, and it shows! Our instructors are experienced, full-time dive professionals, who take your training and personal safety seriously, while providing a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience.

Resort Course
Dive today! Discover the adventure and excitement of scuba diving for yourself. Following a brief poolside presentation and practice session, you'll make two open water scuba dives under the careful supervision of an experienced PADI dive instructor. Once you've completed our Discover Scuba Diving program, you'll be able to make additional supervised open water dives for up to two weeks!
Prerequisites: age 10 or older.
Course Duration: one day (AM pool/PM dives).
Required Materials: provided at no additional coat
Required Equipment: provided at no additional cost.
Cost of Course: $185 all-inclusive.
Open Water Diver Course
This is where the real adventure begins! PADI Open Water Diver Courses are designed to help you master the knowledge and skills needed to safely enjoy the underwater world. Academic, confined water, and open water training requires just two to three days to complete, and includes four open water scuba dives! Following self-directed study of course materials (available online, in text/video, or in CD-ROM formats) one of our experienced instructors will personally guide you through each step of the way toward one of the world's most widely recognized open water diver certifications.
Prerequisites: age 10 or older; able to swim and comfortably maintain self in water too deep to stand up in.
Course Duration: three days (day 1-academics, day 2-AM pool/PM dives, day 3-AM pool/PM dives).
Required Materials: PADI Open Water Crewpak (available online, in text/video, or in CD-ROM formats).
Required Equipment: provided at no additional cost.
Cost of Course: $485 plus required materials.
Open Water Checkout Dives
Congratulations! You've completed the academic and pool sessions of your Open Water Diver Course. Now let's go diving! The focus of this two day evaluative program is on safety and fun. You'll complete four open water scuba dives with the helpful guidance of one of our experienced instructors. You'll demonstrate and apply the skills and knowledge that you've already acquired, and qualify for one of the world's most widely recognized open water diver certifications.
Prerequisites: completed academic and confined water training, along with watermanship assessment.
Course Duration: two days (day 1 - AM assessment/PM dives 1 & 2, day 2 - PM dives 3 & 4).
Required Materials: Dive Planner, Log Book, Referral Form, and Medical Statement.
Required Equipment: provided at no additional cost.
Cost of Course: $285 plus required materials.
Enriched Air Nitrox Course
Get more bottom time. That's what nitrox diving is all about! Learn the basics of enriched air diving in PADI's Enriched Air Diver Course. Following self-directed study of course materials, this one day specialty courses prepares you to safely plan and execute recreational dives using enriched air (nitrox).
Prerequisites: certified open water diver.
Course Duration: one day (AM class/PM dives).
Required Materials: PADI Enriched Air Crewpak.
Required Equipment: mask, snorkel, fins, exposure suit, regulator with pressure gauge, alternate air source, means of monitoring depth, time, and direction, slate with pencil, knife or line cutter, whistle, log book, and enriched air (nitrox).
Cost of Course: $185 plus required materials and equipment.
Adventure Dives
Adventure Dives are the individual components of the Advanced Open Water Diver Course. Following self-directed study of course materials, you'll enjoy an instructor-supervised introduction to one or two specialty areas that interest you (e.g. deep diving and wreck diving). These dives may then be credited toward your Advanced Open Water and/or corresponding Specialty certifications!
Prerequisites: certified open water diver.
Course Duration: one half day (one to two dives).
Required Materials: PADI Adventures in Diving Crewpak.
Required Equipment: mask, snorkel, fins, exposure suit, regulator with pressure gauge, alternate air source, means of monitoring depth, time, and direction, slate with pencil, knife or line cutter, whistle, and log book.
Cost of Course: $125 plus required materials and equipment.
Advanced Open Water Course
The adventure continues! The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course builds upon the foundation of knowledge and skills developed during open water certification. Following self-directed study of course materials, you'll enjoy an instructor-supervised introduction to deep diving and underwater navigation, as well as three elective specialty areas. Elective dives might include peak performance buoyancy, wreck diving, drift diving, boat diving, underwater naturalist, or underwater photography, among others.
Prerequisites: certified open water diver.
Course Duration: two days (five to six dives).
Required Materials: PADI Adventures in Diving Crewpak.
Required Equipment: mask, snorkel, fins, exposure suit, regulator with pressure gauge, alternate air source, means of monitoring depth, time, and direction, slate with pencil, knife or line cutter, whistle, and log book.
Cost of Course: $375 plus required materials and equipment.
Rescue Diver Course
Be prepared! Our Rescue Diver Courses help to prepare you to recognize, prevent, and respond to most diving problems and emergencies.
Prerequisites: certified advanced open water diver or equivalent, certified first aid and CPR provider.
Course Duration: three days (day 1 - academics, day 2 - open water training (from shore), day 3 - open water training (from boat).
Required Materials: PADI Rescue Diver Manual.
Required Equipment: mask, snorkel, fins, exposure suit, regulator with pressure gauge, alternate air source, means of monitoring depth, time, and direction, slate with pencil, knife or line cutter, whistle, and log book.
Cost of Course: $395 plus required materials and equipment.
